Project Leviathan

Leviathan consists of two chapters, the first chapter as a prologue while the second provides more details and answers. Both chapters will be included in the full game.

Prologue

There was once a prosperous and powerful kingdom, the Azure Kingdom of Atlen. It vanished without a trace and its existence was wiped off the world of Esviore without a trace. What’s left of the Kingdom of Atlen are their memories, their aspirations, and their…secrets.

Stored in Atlen Lithographs, these priceless ancient artifacts offer knowledge and enlightenment to all those who manage to find and decipher them. Archaeologists, explorers, collectors, soldiers, and pirates alike all aims to obtain these priceless artifacts for knowledge, power, or wealth.

A few hundred years after this disappearance, the people of Esviore no longer possess any knowledge about the Kingdom of Atlen. Those who knew about it, see it as a myth. A mere legend. Chosen as a representative from the Esviore Heritage Association, you are to venture into the deepest parts of Soldew Island and reach a rumored relic, that is said to be built by the Kingdom of Atlen., – the Soldew Atelier. Your arrival at Soldew Island will mark a path that you must take, a path once walked by oracles.

Your fate shall turn as you move closer to your destination…

Eventing the bosses are a pain right now, especially because I’m using an ABS. :(

  9. Why is Kai’s haircolor different on the face than on the character set? Btw looks awesome. I love games that use ABSs.

  10. Really? I don’t think it’s THAT different.
If it bothers you so much I’ve changed it.
    (in the game)

  11. It wasn’t really bothering me I just thought there might be a reason.

  12. You know that guy the maincharacter reminds me of icky from airgear.

Oh, and development is going pretty smoothly.

  17. You have a wonderful tutorial site here! How did you accumulate all of your expertise in making games with RMVX? Did a lot of what you learned using RMXP carry over onto RMVX? Are they quite alike? Are there any books, Wiki’s or other tutorial sites the you would recommend as a starting point for someone new to RMVX? Did anyone ever translate the How to book that was released for RMXP into English?

I plan on eventually diving head on into learning RMVX but first I must finish what I would call the foundational or core software that will make up the basis for the graphics, character and enemy animations and cut scenes for my game. I have just started learning Blender3D, Gimp, and Vue6PLE. I plan on making my graphics at least on par with the likes of Donkey Kong Country or Final Fantasy 7, what I would call faux 3D, pictures and animations of 3D but not actually 3D, except for the cut scenes that is.

  18. Thank you. Yes, RMing skills does carry over all version of RMs due to most of them being similar. There really isn’t a particular site for RM tutorials, other than RM forums but they can provide some good bases.

Someone called Tri-something translated the RMXP help file quite some time ago, however I do not have it.

I bid you good luck with project, KlonoaDreamer.
Persevere, and I’m sure it’ll turn out great.

  19. where did you get the equipment extention, i’ve search all over the net and have found nothing.

    1. I’m sure I found it in a forum somewhere, I think it’s rpgmakervx.net

  20. Hmm… I found it, now i need to know how to create enemies with the PRCoders ABS. Cause I can’t read the language its in.

  21. nvr mind, found an english version

  22. Hey, would you mind telling me on how to make sprites for the PRABS script?

  23. how do u download this game?
